How It Works – The Physical Beer Passport™

The Beer Passport™ has become a favourite among beer enthusiasts, offering an exciting way to explore new breweries. Here’s how it works:

• Buy your Beer Passport™: Purchase their passports for R360.
• Visit Breweries: Passport holders can visit any of the 120 participating breweries.
• Get Stamped: At each location, they receive a stamp to mark their visit.
• Collect a Free Beer: A reward is waiting at each stop, with breweries offering a free beer to passport holders.*

Now, as we transition to digital, integrated photo check-ins make sharing moments effortless, and each brewery can set custom rewards, adding flexibility and creating exciting new opportunities for user engagement.

Going Digital: Our Next Chapter

With the support of our community, we’re launching a digital platform to serve as a central hub for all things craft beer. This digital passport will provide an interactive format, connecting breweries from Africa’s diverse regions. Together, we’ll create an engaging space for Okavango Brewery’s story to be shared with a community eager for their next adventure.

Annual Subscription Fee

Joining the digital Beer Troopers community requires an annual subscription fee of R4000 + 15% VAT (about $200), amounting to approximately R380 per month. This fee gives you access to a growing network of engaged craft beer enthusiasts and the opportunity to reach a wider audience through the digital passport.

• Increased Exposure: Inclusion in our platform, expanding visibility to a continent-wide audience of craft beer enthusiasts.
• Customized Rewards: Flexible options to set your brewery’s own rewards and promotions.

We’re building a strong, interconnected community of craft beer enthusiasts, and we’d love for each brewery to invite their loyal patrons to join Beer Troopers at an annual membership fee of R390 (about $20).
