You Are Now Part of the World’s Greatest Beer Adventure

Your brewery is now part of the world’s greatest beer adventure — reaching travellers, sharing your story, and growing your visibility through the Beer Passport™.

The Beer Passport™ is a beautifully crafted keepsake that includes access to the 2026 Digital Map & Check-in Challenge, allowing travellers to explore, check in, and collect stamps along their journey.

Where It All Began

The Beer Passport™ began in South Africa as a simple idea — to celebrate independent brewers and help travellers discover local beer destinations.

After the success of the South African edition — with nearly 5,000 printed copies sold and thousands of explorers checking in — we’re now expanding the 2026 Map to include breweries across the continent.

Angola · Botswana · Burundi · Ethiopia · Ghana · Kenya · Malawi · Mozambique · Namibia · Nigeria · Rwanda · South Africa · Tanzania · Uganda

How It Works

Get Listed

Your brewery, taproom, or beer garden is featured on the Beer Passport™ 2026 Map, where travellers can find you, check in, and learn your story.

Engage Visitors

Keep a small rubber stamp at your bar and offer a simple “first check-in” reward — perhaps a complimentary taster or half-price pint.

Stock Passports

Sell printed Beer Passports in your taproom. They make great souvenirs for visitors and help fund the movement.

Simplified Logistics

Passports can be included with your ingredient orders through suppliers such as Cactus Craft or BevPlus, keeping things simple and cost-effective.

Troopy Post – The Story of the Journey

Earlier this year, we met Jasmin and Michael, a Swiss couple who shipped their 30-year-old Land Cruiser Troopy to South Africa.

After exploring Southern Africa, they visited us in Durban to prepare their vehicle for the long journey home to Switzerland — a route that will take them north through East Africa, across West Africa, and eventually to Morocco, Spain, and Portugal.

Along the way, they’ll visit as many breweries as possible, delivering stamps and Beer Passports to selected destinations — a project we call Troopy Post.

During their visit, we also had the pleasure of introducing them to legendary explorer Kingsley Holgate, who generously shared advice and encouragement for their journey north.

Their story captures the spirit of Beer Troopers — connecting people, places, and stories through adventure and good beer.
